Natalie is 1 year old!
At 13 months...
At 14 months!
A new set at 15-16 months!
Here's Catelyn, her mom Amanda, Natalie, and Sara down on the beach for one of our babygroup meetings. It was supposed to rain but stayed sunny and bright for a while. The McClung and Pape families visited also.
Here's all the kids lined up for a group photo. Click here for the 2.35MB original-size file in case you want to keep a copy.
Natalie likes sunglasses, and she borrowed these from Amelia Pape.
Peering out, Nat says goodbye for now. There will be plenty more pictures later in the month.
Here she's reading a nice book Susan Leavitt bought, riding home from turning the keys to the "Portermobile" over to the Leavitts at North Bend.
She loves to imitate her parents, in this case on a spare keyboard we have. She sees Mom & Dad using their laptops side by side on the dining room table, and likes to do the same.
Up where she shouldn't be! She can climb atop a table, but she sort of quit doing it. She is learning what "no" means, and is usually agreeable, no big battle of wills has started (yet).
Two-thirds of our family (not counting pets). You can see a diminishing scar on Natalie's left cheek, the result of a crash and burn into a piece of furniture at the Smith's house.
Now that it's sunny and warmer sometimes, she likes to wander around outdoors more.
Ditto above. Do you like her hairstyle? We call it the "fountain" look.
We bought her a life preserver which she loves to wear. It's so heavy and awkward, she has trouble standing up if she tips off her feet, leading to whimpering. She's only been on one boatride yet, but she also wore it in the pool at the community center (where she's receiving "swimming" lessons or more accurately pre-swimming).
That's the end of April's pictures!
